Become a DEI trailblazer with our new micro-credential, “Building a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive Workplace.”

Overview

In partnership with Experience Management Institute, AASPA is excited to present an online course that empowers you to champion diversity, equity and inclusion. This course is comprised of six self-paced lessons and provides essential tools for DEI practitioners and teams.

Through this course, you will:

• Learn how to build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace,
• Earn credit hours toward your HCLE certification, and
• Receive a digital badge to display on social media or your email signature as proof of your learning and expertise.

Audience

This course is for anyone who leads or supports DEI work at their organization, including building principals, department heads, organization leaders, and DEI task forces. 

Research Base

Recognizing that many DEI efforts are misaligned with research, ineffective, or even counterproductive, this course is aligned with proven strategies. 

The course includes six lessons you can complete independently and optional tools for DEI teams. Once registration is completed, you will receive a link to access to the learning management platform within 48 hours. This platform will include modules that you can complete at your own pace, along with a series of assessments. You will have access to the learning management platform for 12 months. 

Once completed, you will receive a DEI Micro-credential badge to utilize on your social media platforms, AASPA profile and your own resume. This Micro-credential is worth 10 hours and qualifies for pHCLE continued education credit.
